Reinstall deck equipment (safety ropes, ladder and handrail).
De-winterize skimmer, pump, filter and heater.

Hose off/blow off deck if needed.

Set out solar cover for customer.**
Leave water sample bottle for customer. Pool water needs to circulate a minimum of 2-3 days before homeowner can bring a water sample in for a free water analysis.
Set out automatic cleaner for customer and install wall fitting if applicable.**
Place Regina information sticker on filter for customer convenience.

Clean filter- Sand: Backwash and set valve for winter. Cartridge/DE: Take apart, hose off and store.
Clean solar cover, fold and store at customer’s location.
Store automatic cleaner at customer’s location.
Remove pump plugs, basket, skimmer basket, pressure gauge and store at customer’s location.
Blow lines, install winter plugs.
Add up to 2 gallons antifreeze to skimmer body and lines. If more than 2 gallons required, additional cost per gallon will be added.
Uninstall deck, safety, and cleaning equipment and store at customer’s location.
Drain heater and winterize if applicable.
Install winter cover. (Package A only)*
Fill water tubes (3/4 full). If additional water tubes and/or plugs are needed, cost will be added. (Package A only*)
Install cover pump if applicable. (Package A only*)
*Opening/closing that goes over 90 minutes, adds additional $32 every 15 minutes.
**Solar covers & automatic cleaners are not to be installed on freshly shocked pools. It will damage the cover & cleaner.
Any plumbing or heater repairs are an additional charge and will be scheduled at a later date.
Regina Pools & Spas cannot guarantee a clear pool after opening. If any problems existed at time of the pool closing, such as green or pink algae, cloudy water, etc., we recommend opening at least two weeks earlier than you normally would open your pool.
Any chemicals or materials used at Open/Close in addition to those included in contract will be billed separately and may incur installation charges as well.

Customer Responsibilities and General Conditions for Pool Openings & Closings
There will be no work performed unless payment is received at time of scheduling the opening and/or
closing date with signed contract.
Pool water must be brought to mid skimmer prior to opening date. If not, there will be a $90.00 charge to return and start equipment.
Pool area should be free of patio furniture, toys, plants, etc.
The owner must remove water and excess debris from the cover or Regina will remove this at an additional charge of $32 per 15 minutes.
Every effort will be made to complete work contracted on date requested, but is not guaranteed.
Additional repairs that are needed will be billed separately at $32 per 15 minutes plus cost of material if time permits. Extensive repairs may have to be scheduled as a service call at a later date after the pool is opened.
Power must be turned on to equipment and water source (hose bib) available.
Do not put solar cover or automatic cleaner in pool until the next day. Shock treatment can damage these items.
Vacuuming of pool is not included in opening package, but maintenance may be scheduled once the system is operational.
Regina carries all insurances required by law.
